Introduction of Qoqnoos Publication

Qoqnoos Publishing House was founded in 1977 by Amir Hosseinzadegan. Qoqnoos is one of the most successful independent publishers in Iran. It has published more than 800 titles so far including books from classic and contemporary world literature and Iranian literature to researches specifically dealing with Iranian society and history, cultural studies and philosophy. Qoqnoos publishes about 60 new titles each year. Despite the fact that Iran is not a member of the copyright convention and Iranian publishers are not legally bound to observe copyrights, Qoqnoos Publishing voluntarily draws contracts with international publishers and copyrights holders in order to respect the intellectual rights of authors.
